Mat 3:1 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea,
Mat 3:4 Now John wore a garment of camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey.
Mat 3:13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him.
Mat 3:14 John would have prevented him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”
Mat 4:12 Now when he heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into Galilee.
Mat 4:21 And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them.
Mat 9:14 Then the disciples of John came to him, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?”

Mat 14:3 For Herod had seized John and bound him and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife,
Mat 14:4 because John had been saying to him, “It is not lawful for you to have her.”
Mat 14:8 Prompted by her mother, she said, “Give me the head of John the Baptist here on a platter.”
Mat 14:10 He sent and had John beheaded in the prison,
Mat 16:14 And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
Mat 17:1 And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
Mat 17:13 Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them of John the Baptist.

Mat 21:25 The baptism of John, from where did it come? From heaven or from man?” And they discussed it among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say to us, Why then did you not believe him?’
Mat 21:26 But if we say, ‘From man,’ we are afraid of the crowd, for they all hold that John was a prophet.”
Mat 21:32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. And even when you saw it, you did not afterward change your minds and believe him.

Mar 1:4 John appeared, baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

Mar 6:20 for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and he kept him safe. When he heard him, he was greatly perplexed, and yet he heard him gladly.

Mar 6:24 And she went out and said to her mother, “For what should I ask?” And she said, “The head of John the Baptist.”
Mar 6:25 And she came in immediately with haste to the king and asked, saying, “I want you to give me at once the head of John the Baptist on a platter.”
Mar 6:27 And immediately the king sent an executioner with orders to bring John’s head. He went and beheaded him in the prison
Mar 8:28 And they told him, “John the Baptist; and others say, Elijah; and others, one of the prophets.”
Mar 9:2 And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them,
Mar 9:38 John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him, because he was not following us.”
Mar 10:35 And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came up to him and said to him, “Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask of you.”
Mar 10:41 And when the ten heard it, they began to be indignant at James and John.
Mar 11:30 Was the baptism of John from heaven or from man? Answer me.”
Mar 11:32 But shall we say, ‘From man’?”— they were afraid of the people, for they all held that John really was a prophet.
Mar 13:3 And as he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
Mar 14:33 And he took with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly distressed and troubled.
Luk 1:13 But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

Luk 3:16 John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Luk 3:20 added this to them all, that he locked up John in prison.

Luk 5:10 and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.”
