Hosea 5:15

15 aI will return again to my place,
until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face,
and bin their distress earnestly seek me.

Hosea 6

Israel and Judah Are Unrepentant

1 Come, let us creturn to the Lord;
for dhe has torn us, that he may heal us;
he has struck us down, and ehe will bind us up.
2After two days fhe will revive us;
on the third day he will raise us up,
that we may live before him.
3 gLet us know; hlet us press on to know the Lord;
ihis going out is sure as the dawn;
he will come to us jas the showers,
kas the spring rains that water the earth.”
4 What shall I do with you, lO mEphraim?
What shall I do with you, O nJudah?
Your love is olike a morning cloud,
plike the dew that goes early away.
5Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets;
I have slain them qby the words of my mouth,
and my judgment goes forth as the light.
6For rI desire steadfast love
Septuagint mercy
and not sacrifice,
tthe knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
7 But ulike Adam they vtransgressed the covenant;
wthere they dealt faithlessly with me.
8 xGilead is a city of evildoers,
ytracked with blood.
9As robbers zlie in wait for a man,
so the priests band together;
they murder on the way to aaShechem;
they commit villainy.
10In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing;
abEphraim’s whoredom is there; acIsrael is defiled.
11 For you also, O adJudah, aea harvest is appointed.
When afI restore the fortunes of my people,

Hosea 7:1-3

1 agwhen I would heal Israel,
the iniquity of Ephraim is revealed,
and the evil deeds of ahSamaria,
for aithey deal falsely;
the thief breaks in,
and the bandits raid outside.
2But they do not consider
that ajI remember all their evil.
Now aktheir deeds surround them;
althey are before my face.
3By their evil amthey make anthe king glad,
and the princes by their treachery.
