If she should not be well-pleasing to her master, who did not solemnly promise her; on payment of ransom he shall release her; [8nation 1but 7to an alien 4not 2the master 3is 5to sell 6her], for he disrespected her.

The lord effaces plans of nations, and he annuls devices of peoples, and he annuls plans of rulers.

For even your brethren and the house of your father, even they disregarded you; and they yelled out; [2at 3your rear 1they assembled]; you should not trust in them when they speak with you good words.

And her priests annulled my law, and they profaned my holy things. Between holy and profane they distinguished not, and between unclean and the clean they distinguished not; and from my Sabbaths they covered up their eyes, and I was profaned in their midst.

To you, O lord, is righteousness, and to us the shame of face, as this day; to the man of Judah, and to the ones dwelling Jerusalem, and to all Israel, to the ones near, and to the ones far off in all the earth, of which you dispersed them there, for their rebellion in which they annulled covenant with you, O lord.
