4 But whoever is among ^{▼▼ The consonantal text (Kethib) has “is chosen, selected.” The translation follows the marginal reading (Qere), “is joined.” See BDB 288 s.v. חָבַר Pu.} the living ^{▼▼ Heb “all the living.”} has hope;
