 ABGk 3:2ABEnκαι Andείπεν [3saidη 1theγυνή 2woman],από Fromκαρπού fruitτου of theξύλου treeτου of theπαραδείσου paradiseφαγόμεθα we shall eat;  ABGk 3:3ABEnαπό but fromδε but fromτου theκαρπού fruitτου of theξύλου treeο whichεστιν isεν inμέσω the middleτου of theπαραδείσου paradise,είπεν God said,ο God said,θεός God said,ου Eat notφάγεσθε Eat notαπ΄ fromαυτού it,ου δε μη norάψησθε touchαυτού it!ίνα thatμη you should notαποθάνητε die.  ABGk 3:4ABEnκαι Andείπεν [3saidο 1theόφις 2serpent]τη to theγυναικί woman,ου Notθανάτω to deathαποθανείσθε will you die.  ABGk 3:5ABEnήδει [3knowsγαρ 1Forο  θεός 2God]ότι thatη in whichαν everημέρα dayφάγητε you should eatαπ΄ ofαυτού it,διανοιχθήσονται [3will be opened wideυμών 1yourοι  οφθαλμοί 2eyes],και andέσεσθε you will beως asθεοί gods,γινώσκοντες knowingκαλόν goodκαι andπονηρόν evil.  ABGk 3:6ABEnκαι Andείδεν [3beheldη 1theγυνή 2woman]ότι thatκαλόν [3 goodτο 1theξύλον 2tree]εις forβρώσιν food,και andότι thatαρεστόν pleasingτοις to theοφθαλμοίς eyesιδείν to behold,και andωραίόν is beautifulεστι is beautifulτου  κατανοήσαι for contemplating.και Andλαβούσα having takenτου theκαρπού fruitαυτού of it,έφαγε she ate,και andέδωκε she gaveκαι alsoτω  ανδρί her husbandαυτής her husbandμετ΄ withαυτής her,και andέφαγον they ate.  ABGk 3:7ABEnκαι Andδιηνοίχθησαν [5were opened wideοι 1theοφθαλμοί 2eyesτων 3of theδύο 4two],και andέγνωσαν they knewότι thatγυμνοί they were naked.ήσαν they were naked.και Andέρραψαν they sewedφύλλα leavesσυκής of a fig-tree,και andεποίησαν madeαυτοίς to themselvesπεριζώματα loincloths.  ABGk 3:8ABEnκαι Andήκουσαν they heardτης theφωνής voiceκυρίου of lord του  θεού Godπεριπατούντος walkingεν inτω theπαραδείσω paradiseτο  δειλινόν at dusk.και Andεκρύβησαν [5hidο  τε 1bothΑδάμ 2Adamκαι 3andη  γυνή 4his wife]αυτού 4his wife]από fromπροσώπου faceκυρίου of lord του  θεού Godεν inμέσω midstτου of theξύλου treeτου of theπαραδείσου paradise.  ABGk 3:9ABEnκαι Andεκάλεσεν God calledο God calledθεός God calledτον  Αδάμ Adam,και andείπεν saidαυτώ to him,Αδάμ Adam,που Whereει are you?  ABGk 3:10ABEnκαι Andείπεν he saidαυτώ to him,της  φωνής [2your voiceσου [2your voiceήκουσα 1I heard]περιπατούντος walkingεν inτω theπαραδείσω paradise,και andεφοβήθην I feared,ότι forγυμνός I am naked,ειμι I am naked,και andεκρύβην I hid.  ABGk 3:11ABEnκαι Andείπεν [2saidαυτώ 3to himο  θεός 1God],τις Whoανήγγειλέ announcedσοι to youότι thatγυμνός you are naked,ει you are naked,ει μη unlessαπό fromτου theξύλου treeου of whichενετειλάμην I gave chargeσοι to you, ,τούτου Thisμόνου aloneμη notφαγείν to eatαπ΄ fromαυτού it --έφαγες you ate.  ABGk 3:12ABEnκαι Andείπεν Adam said,ο Adam said,Αδάμ Adam said,η Theγυνή womanην whomέδωκας you gaveμετ΄ withεμού me,αυτή sheμοι gave to meέδωκεν gave to meαπό fromτου theξύλου tree,και andέφαγον I ate.  ABGk 3:13ABEnκαι Andείπε [3saidκύριος 1 lord ο  θεός 2God]τη to theγυναικί woman,τι Whatτούτο thisεποίησας you did?και Andείπεν [3saidη 1theγυνή 2woman],ο Theόφις serpentηπάτησε deceivedμε me,και andέφαγον I ate.  ABGk 3:14ABEnκαι Andείπε [3saidκύριος 1 lord ο  θεός 2God]τω to theόφει serpent,ότι Becauseεποίησας you didτούτο this,επικατάρατος accursedσυ youαπό fromπάντων allτων theκτηνών cattle,και andαπό fromπάντων allτων theθηρίων wild beastsτων of the  επί uponτης theγης earth.επί Uponτω  στήθει your breastσου your breastκαι andτη  κοιλία bellyπορεύση you shall go,και andγην earthφαγή you shall eatπάσας allτας theημέρας daysτης  ζωής of your life.σου of your life.  ABGk 3:15ABEnκαι Andέχθραν [2hatredθήσω 1I will put]αναμέσον betweenσου youκαι andαναμέσον betweenτης theγυναικός woman;και andαναμέσον betweenτου  σπέρματός your seedσου your seedκαι andαναμέσον betweenτου  σπερματός her seed.αυτής her seed.αυτός Heσου will give heed to yourτηρήσει will give heed to yourκεφαλήν head,και andσυ youτηρήσεις will give heed toαυτού hisπτέρναν heel.  ABGk 3:16ABEnκαι Andτη to theγυναικί womanείπε he said,πληθύνων multiplyingπληθυνώ I will multiplyτας  λύπας your distresses,σου your distresses,και andτους  στεναγμους your moanings.σου your moanings.εν Inλύπαις distressesτέξη you will bearτέκνα children,και andπρος toτον  άνδρα your husbandσου your husbandη  αποστροφή your submission,σου your submission,και andαυτός heσου will dominate you.κυριεύσει will dominate you.  ABGk 3:17ABEnτω And  δε And  Αδάμ Adamείπεν he said,ότι Becauseήκουσας you hearkened toτης theφωνής voiceτης  γυναικός of your wife,σου of your wife,και andέφαγες ateαπό fromτου theξύλου treeου of whichενετειλάμην I gave chargeσοι to you, ,τούτου Thisμόνου aloneμη notφαγείν to eatαπ΄ fromαυτού it --έφαγες you ate;επικατάρατος accursedη theγη landεν amongτοις  έργοις your works;σου your works;εν inλύπαις distressesφαγή you will eatαυτήν itπάσας allτας theημέρας daysτης  ζωής of your life.σου of your life.  ABGk 3:18ABEnακάνθας Thorn-bushesκαι andτριβόλους thistlesανατελεί will riseσοι to you,και andφαγή you will eatτον theχόρτον grassτου of theαγρού field.  ABGk 3:19ABEnεν Byίδρωτι sweatτου  προσώπου of your faceσου of your faceφαγή you will eatτον  άρτον your bread,σου your bread,έως untilτου theαποστρέψαι returningσε youεις intoτην theγην earthεξ from outης of whichελήφθης you were taken.ότι Forγη earthει you areκαι andεις untoγην earthαπελεύση you will go.  ABGk 3:20ABEnκαι Andεκάλεσεν Adam calledΑδάμ Adam calledτο theόνομα nameτης  γυναικός of his wife,αυτού of his wife,Ζωή Zoe,ότι forαυτή sheην wasμήτηρ motherπάντων of allτων theζώντων living.  ABGk 3:21ABEnκαι Andεποίησε [3madeκύριος 1 lord ο  θεός 2God]τω  Αδάμ Adamκαι andτη  γυναικί his wifeαυτού his wifeχιτώνας garmentsδερματίνους of skins,και andενέδυσεν he clothedαυτούς them.  ABGk 3:22ABEnκαι Andείπεν God said,ο God said,θεός God said,ιδού Behold,Αδάμ Adamγέγονεν has becomeως asεις oneεξ ofημών us,του  γινώσκειν to knowκαλόν goodκαι andπονηρόν evil.και Andνυν now,μήποτε lest at any timeεκτείνη he might stretch outτην theχείρα hand,και andλάβη should takeαπό fromτου theξύλου treeτης  ζωής of life,και andφάγη should eat,και andζήσεται will liveεις intoτον theαιώνα eon --  ABGk 3:23ABEnκαι thatεξαπέστειλεν [3ejectedαυτόν 4himκύριος 1 lord ο  θεός 2God]εκ fromτου theπαραδείσου paradiseτης of theτρυφής delicacy,εργάζεσθαι to workτην theγην earthεξ fromης whichελήφθη he was taken.  ABGk 3:24ABEnκαι Andεξέβαλε he cast outτον  Αδάμ Adam,και andκατώκισεν settledαυτόν himαπέναντι beforeτου theπαραδείσου paradiseτης of theτρυφής delicacy,και andέταξε orderedτα theχερουβίμ cherubim,και andτην theφλογίνην flamingρομφαίαν [2broadswordτην  στρεφομένην 1turning],φυλάσσειν to guardτην theοδόν wayτου of theξύλου treeτης  ζωής of life.
