The LORD is a Helper in Our Afflictions
To the director; for the sons of Korah; [2concerning 3the 4secrets 1a psalm].1 Our God is a refuge and power; a helper in afflictions, to the ones [2having found 3us 1exceedingly]. 2 On account of this we shall not fear when the [2is disturbed 1earth], and [2are transposed 1mountains] in the hearts of seas. 3 [2sounded 3and 4were disturbed 1Their waters]; [3were disturbed 1the 2mountains] by his force. 4 [3of the 4river 1The 2rapid movements] gladdens the city of God. [2the bow 1He shall break], and he shall break in pieces the weapon; and the shields he shall incinerate with fire. 10 Relax, and know that I am God! I shall be raised up high in the nations. Looking up a passage in three different translations is also easy.
This asks STEP to search for the Greek word for 'brother' and show the results in the ESV.
This example runs both a 'Hebrew word search' and a 'Text' search and shows the results in both the NIV and ESV.
You can mix most searches. This finds any word translated as 'throne' in the Prophets and the New Testament, but only in verses concerning the topic 'David'. This excludes verses which refer to a 'throne' in other contexts.
Interlinear Hebrew & Greek is available for some translations with grammar (and more soon). To reverse the interlinear order, click on a version abbreviation under the verse number.
