Hannah’s Prayer

1And Hannah prayed and said,

a  “My heart exults in the  Lord;
b  my horn is exalted in the  Lord.
My mouth derides my enemies,
because c  I rejoice in your salvation.

Nehemiah 8:10

10Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and d  send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the  Lord is your strength.”

Psalms 28:7

7The  Lord is my strength and e  my shield;
in him my heart f  trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults,
and with my g  song I give thanks to him.

Isaiah 35:10

10 h  And the ransomed of the  Lord shall return
and come to Zion with singing;

18 k  yet I will rejoice in the  Lord;
l  I will take joy in the God of my salvation.

Zechariah 10:7

7Then Ephraim shall become like a mighty warrior,
and m  their hearts shall be glad as with wine.
Their children shall see it and be glad;
their hearts shall rejoice in the  Lord.
