Acts 22:3-4

3 a  I am a Jew, born in Tarsus in Cilicia, but brought up in this city, educated b  at the feet of c  Gamaliel
Or  city at the feet of Gamaliel, educated
e  according to the strict manner of the law of our fathers f  being zealous for God g  as all of you are this day.
4 h  I persecuted i  this Way j  to the death, binding and delivering to prison both men and women,

Acts 22:19-23

19And I said, ‘Lord, they themselves know that in one synagogue after another k  I imprisoned and l  beat those who believed in you. 20And when the blood of Stephen m  your witness was being shed n  I myself was standing by and o  approving and p  watching over the garments of those who killed him.’ 21And he said to me, Go, for I will send you q  far away to the Gentiles.’

I not only locked up many of the saints in prison after receiving authority w  from the chief priests, but x  when they were put to death I cast my vote against them. 11And y  I punished them often in all the synagogues and tried to make them z  blaspheme, and aa  in raging fury against them I ab  persecuted them even to foreign cities.

Romans 10:2-3

2For I bear them witness that ac  they have a zeal for God ad  but not according to knowledge. 3For, being ignorant of ae  the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.

Galatians 1:13-14

13For you have heard of af  my former life in Judaism, how ag  I persecuted the church of God violently and tried to destroy it. 14And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people, so extremely ah  zealous was I for ai  the traditions of my fathers.

Philippians 3:6
