Deuteronomy 4:6

6 a  Keep them and do them, for b  that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

Deuteronomy 32:28-29

And shall I make the rest of it an h  abomination? Shall I fall down before a block of wood?” 20 i  He feeds on j  ashes; a deluded heart has led him astray, and he cannot deliver himself or say, “Is there not k  a lie in my right hand?”

Jeremiah 4:22

and will speak to them,
for they know the way of the  Lord,
the justice of their God.”
o  But they all alike had broken the yoke;
they had burst the bonds.

Jeremiah 5:21-22

21Hear this p  O foolish and senseless people,
q  who have eyes, but see not,
who have ears, but hear not.
22 r  Do you not fear me? declares the  Lord.
Do you not tremble before me?
I placed the sand s  as the boundary for the sea,
a perpetual barrier that it cannot pass;
though the waves toss, they cannot prevail;
though t  they roar, they cannot pass over it.

Jeremiah 8:7

7Even the stork in the heavens
knows her times,
and u  the turtledove v  swallow, and crane
The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain

keep the time of their coming,
x  but my people know not
the rules
Or just decrees
of the  Lord.

ac  I also will forget your children.
