Exodus 12:26-27

26And c  when your children say to you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’ 27you shall say, d  ‘It is the sacrifice of the  Lord’s Passover, for he passed over the houses of the people of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians but spared our houses.’” And the people e  bowed their heads and worshiped.

Exodus 13:14-15

14 f  And when in time to come your son asks you, ‘What does this mean?’ you shall say to him, g  ‘By a strong hand the  Lord brought us out of Egypt, from the house of h  slavery. 15For when Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the i   Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of animals. Therefore I sacrifice to the  Lord all the males that first open the womb, but j  all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

Deuteronomy 4:9

9 k  Only take care, and l  keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. m  Make them known to your children and your children’s children

Deuteronomy 6:7

7 n  You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.

Joshua 4:21-22

21And he said to the people of Israel, o  When your children ask their fathers in times to come, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 22then you shall let your children know, p  Israel passed over this Jordan on dry ground.’
