12 How d  you are fallen from heaven,
O Day Star, e  son of Dawn!
How you are cut down to the ground,
you who laid the nations low!
13You said in your heart,

29 k  Summon archers against Babylon, all those who bend the bow. l  Encamp around her; let no one escape. m  Repay her according to her deeds; do to her according to all that she has done. 32 r  The proud one shall stumble and fall,
with none to raise him up,
s  and I will kindle a fire in his cities,
and it will devour all that is around him.

And x  the vessels of his house have been brought in before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them. y  And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or know, z  but the God in whose hand is your breath, and aa  whose are all your ways, ab  you have not honored.
