Jeremiah 25:9

9 a  behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, declares the  Lord, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon b  my servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction c  and make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.

Jeremiah 25:12

12Then after d  seventy years are completed, e  I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, f  the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, declares the  Lord, g  making the land an everlasting waste.

Jeremiah 26:6-7

6then I will make this house h  like Shiloh, and I will make this city i  a curse for all the nations of the earth.’”

7 j  The priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the  Lord.

Jeremiah 27:12-13

12To k  Zedekiah king of Judah I spoke in like manner: l  Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and m  serve him and his people and live. 13 n  Why will you and your people die o  by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence p  as the  Lord has spoken concerning any nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?

Jeremiah 29:10

10For thus says the  Lord: q  When seventy years are completed for Babylon r  I will visit you, s  and I will fulfill to you my promise t  and bring you back to this place.

Daniel 9:2

2in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, perceived in the books the number of years that, according to u  the word of the  Lord to Jeremiah the prophet, must pass before the end of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years.

Zechariah 1:4-6

4 v  Do not be like your fathers w  to whom the former prophets cried out, ‘Thus says the  Lord of hosts x  Return from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.’ But y  they did not hear or pay attention to me, declares the  Lord. 5Your fathers, where are they? And z  the prophets, do they live forever? 6 aa  But my words and my statutes, which I commanded ab  my servants the prophets, did they not ac  overtake your fathers? So they repented and said ad  ‘As the  Lord of hosts purposed to deal with us for ae  our ways and af  deeds, so has he dealt with us.’”
