Job 16:7-17

7Surely now God has worn me out;
a  he has
Hebrew you have; also verse 8
made desolate all my company.
8And he has shriveled me up,
which is c  a witness against me,
and my d  leanness has risen up against me;
it testifies to my face.
9He has e  torn me in his wrath f  and hated me;
he has g  gnashed his teeth at me;
my adversary sharpens his eyes against me.
10Men have h  gaped at me with their mouth;
they have i  struck me insolently on the cheek;
they j  mass themselves together against me.
11God gives me up to the ungodly
and casts me into the hands of the wicked.
12I was at ease, and he broke me apart;
he seized me by the neck and dashed me to pieces;
he set me up as his k  target;
13his l  archers surround me.
He slashes open my kidneys m  and does not spare;
he n  pours out my gall on the ground.
14He breaks me with o  breach upon breach;
he p  runs upon me like a warrior.
15I have sewed q  sackcloth upon my skin
and have laid r  my strength s  in the dust.
16My face is red with weeping,
and on my eyelids is t  deep darkness,
17although there is no u  violence in my hands,
and my prayer is pure.

Psalms 30:5

5 v  For his anger is but for a moment,
and w  his favor is for a lifetime.
Or  and in his favor is life

y  Weeping may tarry for the night,
but z  joy comes with the morning.

Lamentations 3:32-33

32but, though he aa  cause grief ab  he will have compassion
ac  according to the abundance of his steadfast love;
33 ad  for he does not afflict from his heart
or ae  grieve the children of men.

Hebrews 12:10
