Job 33:8-12

8 Surely you have spoken in my ears,
and I have heard the sound of your words.
9You say, ‘I am a  pure, without b  transgression;
I am clean, and there is no iniquity in me.
10Behold, he finds occasions against me,
he c  counts me as his enemy,
11he d  puts my feet in the stocks
and e  watches all my paths.’
12 Behold, in this you are not right. I will answer you,
for God is greater than man.

Job 42:3-6

3 f  Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,
things g  too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
4Hear, and I will speak;
h  I will question you, and you make it known to me.’
5I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear,
but now my eye sees you;
6therefore I despise myself,
and repent
Or  and am comforted
in j  dust and ashes.”
