Joel 3:9-129 Proclaim this among the nations:
a Consecrate for war; ▼
▼Or Consecrate a war
stir up the mighty men.
Let all the men of war draw near;
let them come up.
10 c Beat your plowshares into swords,
and d your pruning hooks into spears;
let the weak say, “I am a warrior.”
11 e Hasten and come,
all you surrounding nations,
and gather yourselves there.
f Bring down your warriors, O Lord.
12Let the nations stir themselves up
and come up to g the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
h for there I will sit to judge
all the surrounding nations.
Amos 4:1212 “Therefore thus I will do to you, O Israel;
because I will do this to you,
prepare to meet your God, O Israel!”
Zechariah 14:2-32For i I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and j the city shall be taken k and the houses plundered l and the women raped. m Half of the city shall go out into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 n Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle.
