Proverbs 7:21-23

21 With much seductive speech she persuades him;
with a  her smooth talk she compels him.
22All at once he follows her,
as an ox goes to the slaughter,
or as a stag is caught fast
Probable reading (compare Septuagint, Vulgate, Syriac); Hebrew  as an anklet for the discipline of a fool

23till an arrow pierces its liver;
as c  a bird rushes into a snare;
he does not know that it will cost him his life.

Proverbs 7:26-27

26for many a victim has she laid low,
and all her slain are d  a mighty throng.
27Her house is e  the way to Sheol,
going down to the chambers of death.

Proverbs 23:33-34

33Your eyes will see strange things,
and your heart utter f  perverse things.
34You will be like one who lies down in the midst of the sea,
like one who lies on the top of a mast.

Ecclesiastes 7:26

26And I find something more h  bitter than death: i  the woman whose heart is j  snares and nets, and whose hands are fetters. He who pleases God escapes her, but k  the sinner is taken by her.
