Psalms 10:4-12

4In the pride of his face
Or  of his anger
the wicked does not b  seek him;
Or  the wicked says, “He will not call to account”

all his thoughts are, d  “There is no God.”
5His ways prosper at all times;
your judgments are on high e  out of his sight;
as for all his foes, he f  puffs at them.
6He g  says in his heart, “I shall not be moved;
throughout all generations I h  shall not meet adversity.”
7 i  His mouth is filled with cursing and j  deceit and k  oppression;
l  under his tongue are m  mischief and n  iniquity.
8He sits in ambush in the villages;
in o  hiding places he murders the innocent.
His eyes stealthily watch for the helpless;
9he lurks in ambush like p  a lion in his q  thicket;
he r  lurks that he may seize the poor;
he seizes the poor when he draws him into his s  net.
10The helpless are crushed, sink down,
and fall by his might.
11He says in his heart, “God has forgotten,
he has t  hidden his face, he u  will never see it.”
12 v  Arise, O  Lord; O God, w  lift up your hand;
x  forget not the afflicted.

Psalms 17:8-13

8 Keep me as y  the apple of your eye;
hide me in z  the shadow of your wings,
9from the wicked who do me violence,
my deadly enemies who aa  surround me.
10 ab  They close their hearts to pity;
with their mouths they ac  speak arrogantly.
11They have now surrounded our ad  steps;
they set their eyes to ae  cast us to the ground.
12He is like a lion eager to tear,
as a young lion af  lurking in ambush.
13 Arise, O  Lord! Confront him, subdue him!
Deliver my soul from the wicked by your sword,

Psalms 35:7

7 For ag  without cause ah  they hid their net for me;
without cause they dug ai  a pit for my life.
The word  pit is transposed from the preceding line; Hebrew  For without cause they hid the pit of their net for me; without cause they dug for my life

Psalms 36:11

They am  dug a pit in my way,
but they have fallen into it themselves.  Selah

Psalms 119:69

69 an  The insolent ao  smear me with lies,
but with my whole heart I ap  keep your precepts;

but at  I do not stray from your precepts.

Psalms 123:3-4

3 au  Have mercy upon us, O  Lord, have mercy upon us,
for we have had more than enough of av  contempt.
4Our soul has had more than enough
of aw  the scorn of ax  those who are at ease,
of the contempt of ay  the proud.
