Isaiah 42:1-4

The  Lord’s Chosen Servant

1 d  Behold e  my servant, whom I uphold,
my chosen, f  in whom my soul delights;
g  I have put my Spirit upon him;
h  he will bring forth justice to the nations.
2He will not cry aloud or lift up his voice,
or make it heard in the street;
3 i  a bruised reed he will not break,
and a faintly burning wick he will not quench;
j  he will faithfully bring forth justice.
4He will not grow faint or be discouraged
Or bruised

till he has established justice in the earth;
and l  the coastlands wait for his law.

Isaiah 51:4-5

4 m  “Give attention to me, my people,
and give ear to me, my nation;
n  for a law
Or  for teaching; also verse 7
will go out from me,
and I will set my justice for a light to the peoples.
5 p  My righteousness draws near,
my salvation has gone out,
and my arms will judge the peoples;
q  the coastlands hope for me,
and for my arm they wait.

Hosea 6:3

Zechariah 14:8-9
