Psalms 18:37-42

37I pursued my enemies and overtook them,
and did not turn back till they were consumed.
38I thrust them through, so that they were not able to rise;
they fell under my feet.
39For you equipped me with strength for the battle;
you made those who rise against me sink under me.
40You made my enemies a  turn their backs to me,
Or  You gave me my enemies’ necks

and those who hated me I destroyed.
41 c  They cried for help, but there was none to save;
they cried to the  Lord, but he did not answer them.
42I beat them fine as d  dust before the wind;
I cast them out like e  the mire of the streets.

Psalms 21:8-10

8 Your hand will f  find out all your enemies;
your right hand will find out those who hate you.
9You will make them as g  a blazing oven
when you appear.
The  Lord will swallow them up in his h  wrath,
and i  fire will consume them.
10You j  will destroy their k  descendants from the earth,
and their offspring from among the children of man.

Psalms 69:22-28

22 l  Let their own m  table before them become a snare;
n  and when they are at peace, let it become a trap.
Hebrew; a slight revocalization yields (compare Septuagint, Syriac, Jerome)  a snare, and retribution and a trap

23 p  Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see,
q  and make their loins tremble continually.
24Pour out your indignation upon them,
and let your burning anger overtake them.
25 r  May their camp be a desolation;
let no one dwell in their tents.
26For they s  persecute him whom t  you have struck down,
and they recount the pain of u  those you have wounded.
27 v  Add to them punishment upon punishment;
may they have no acquittal from you.
Hebrew  may they not come into your righteousness

28Let them be x  blotted out of the book of the living;
let them not be y  enrolled among the righteous.

Psalms 109:6-20

6 z  Appoint a wicked man aa  against him;
let an accuser stand ab  at his right hand.
7When he is tried, let him come forth guilty;
let his ac  prayer be counted as sin!
8May his ad  days be few;
may ae  another take his af  office!
9May his ag  children be fatherless
and his wife a widow!
10May his children ah  wander about and beg,
ai  seeking food far from the ruins they inhabit!
11May aj  the creditor seize all that he has;
may ak  strangers plunder the fruits of his toil!
12Let there be none to al  extend kindness to him,
nor any to am  pity his fatherless children!
13May his an  posterity be cut off;
may his ao  name be blotted out in the second generation!
14May ap  the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the  Lord,
and let not the sin of his mother be aq  blotted out!
15 ar  Let them be before the  Lord continually,
that he may as  cut off the memory of them from the earth!
16 For he did not remember to show kindness,
but pursued at  the poor and needy
and au  the brokenhearted, to put them to death.
17 av  He loved to curse; let curses come
Revocalization; Masoretic Text curses have come
upon him!
He did not delight in blessing; may it be far
Revocalization; Masoretic Text it is far
from him!
18He ay  clothed himself with cursing as his coat;
may it az  soak
Revocalization; Masoretic Text it has soaked
into his body like water,
like oil into his bones!
19May it be like a garment that he wraps around him,
like a belt that he puts on every day!
20May this be the reward of my bb  accusers from the  Lord,
of those who speak evil against my life!

Luke 19:27

27But bc  as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and bd  slaughter them before me.’”
