33For the  Lord hears the needy
and f  does not despise his own people who are prisoners.

5But I am poor and needy;
g  hasten to me, O God!
You are my help and my deliverer;
O  Lord, do not delay!

Isaiah 41:17

17 h  When the poor and needy seek water,
and there is none,
and their tongue is parched with thirst,
I the  Lord will answer them;
I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

Matthew 8:20

2 Corinthians 8:9

James 2:5

5Listen, my beloved brothers j  has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be k  rich in faith and heirs of l  the kingdom m  which he has promised to those who love him?
