Psalms 14:6

6You would shame the plans of the poor,

Psalms 22:8

8 e  “He trusts in the  Lord; let him f  deliver him;
let him rescue him, for he g  delights in him!”

Psalms 42:10

10As with a deadly wound in my bones,
my adversaries taunt me,

Where is your God?”

Psalms 71:11

11and say, “God has forsaken him;
pursue and seize him,
for there is none to deliver him.”

Isaiah 36:15

15Do not let Hezekiah make you trust in the  Lord by saying, “The  Lord will surely deliver us. This city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Isaiah 36:18

18Beware lest Hezekiah mislead you by saying, “The  Lord will deliver us.” Has any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Isaiah 37:10

10Thus shall you speak to Hezekiah king of Judah: i  ‘Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.
