Psalms 74:2-7

2 a  Remember your congregation, which you have b  purchased of old,
which you have c  redeemed to be d  the tribe of your heritage!
Remember Mount Zion e  where you have dwelt.
3Direct your steps to f  the perpetual ruins;
the enemy has destroyed everything in the sanctuary!
4 Your foes have g  roared in the midst of your meeting place;
h  they set up their i  own signs for j  signs.
5They were like those who swing k  axes
in a forest of trees.
The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain

6And all its m  carved wood
they broke down with hatchets and hammers.
7They n  set your sanctuary on fire;
they o  profaned p  the dwelling place of your name,
bringing it down to the ground.
