Num 6:1
And the  Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃
Num 6:2
Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When either a man or a woman makes a special vow, the vow of aa Nazirite
 Nazirite means one separated, or one consecrated
cto separate himself to the  Lord,
Λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς Ἀνὴρ γυνή, ὃς ἐὰν μεγάλως εὔξηται εὐχὴν ἀφαγνίσασθαι ἁγνείαν κυρίῳ
דַּבֵּר֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֲלֵהֶ֑ם אִ֣ישׁ אֽוֹ־אִשָּׁ֗ה כִּ֤י יַפְלִא֙ לִנְדֹּר֙ נֶ֣דֶר נָזִ֔יר לְהַזִּ֖יר לַֽיהוָֽה׃
Num 6:3
he dshall separate himself from wine and strong drink. He shall drink no vinegar made from wine or strong drink and shall not drink any juice of grapes or eat grapes, fresh or dried.
ἀπὸ οἴνου καὶ σικερα, ἁγνισθήσεται ἀπὸ οἴνου καὶ ὄξος ἐξ οἴνου καὶ ὄξος ἐκ σικερα οὐ πίεται καὶ ὅσα κατεργάζεται ἐκ σταφυλῆς οὐ πίεται καὶ σταφυλὴν πρόσφατον καὶ σταφίδα οὐ φάγεται.
מִיַּ֤יִן וְשֵׁכָר֙ יַזִּ֔יר חֹ֥מֶץ יַ֛יִן וְחֹ֥מֶץ שֵׁכָ֖ר לֹ֣א יִשְׁתֶּ֑ה וְכָל־מִשְׁרַ֤ת עֲנָבִים֙ לֹ֣א יִשְׁתֶּ֔ה וַעֲנָבִ֛ים לַחִ֥ים וִיבֵשִׁ֖ים לֹ֥א יֹאכֵֽל׃
Num 6:4
All the days of his separation
Or Naziriteship
he shall eat nothing that is produced by the grapevine, not even the seeds or the skins.

πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς εὐχῆς αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ πάντων, ὅσα γίνεται ἐξ ἀμπέλου, οἶνον ἀπὸ στεμφύλων ἕως γιγάρτου οὐ φάγεται.
כֹּ֖ל יְמֵ֣י נִזְר֑וֹ מִכֹּל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יֵעָשֶׂ֜ה מִגֶּ֣פֶן הַיַּ֗יִן מֵחַרְצַנִּ֛ים וְעַד־זָ֖ג לֹ֥א יֹאכֵֽל׃
Num 6:5
All the days of his vow of separation, no frazor shall touch his head. Until the time is completed for which he separates himself to the  Lord, he shall be holy. gHe shall let the locks of hair of his head grow long.

πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς εὐχῆς τοῦ ἁγνισμοῦ ξυρὸν οὐκ ἐπελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ· ἕως ἂν πληρωθῶσιν αἱ ἡμέραι, ὅσας ηὔξατο κυρίῳ, ἅγιος ἔσται τρέφων κόμην τρίχα κεφαλῆς.
כָּל־יְמֵי֙ נֶ֣דֶר נִזְר֔וֹ תַּ֖עַר לֹא־יַעֲבֹ֣ר עַל־רֹאשׁ֑וֹ עַד־מְלֹ֨את הַיָּמִ֜ם אֲשֶׁר־יַזִּ֤יר לַיהוָה֙ קָדֹ֣שׁ יִהְיֶ֔ה גַּדֵּ֥ל פֶּ֖רַע שְׂעַ֥ר רֹאשֽׁוֹ׃
Num 6:6
All the days that he separates himself to the  Lord hhe shall not go near a dead body.
πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς εὐχῆς κυρίῳ ἐπὶ πάσῃ ψυχῇ τετελευτηκυίᾳ οὐκ εἰσελεύσεται·
כָּל־יְמֵ֥י הַזִּיר֖וֹ לַיהוָ֑ה עַל־נֶ֥פֶשׁ מֵ֖ת לֹ֥א יָבֹֽא׃
Num 6:7
iNot even for his father or for his mother, for brother or sister, if they die, shall he make himself unclean, because his separation to God is on his head.
ἐπὶ πατρὶ καὶ ἐπὶ μητρὶ καὶ ἐπ' ἀδελφῷ καὶ ἐπ' ἀδελφῇ, οὐ μιανθήσεται ἐπ' αὐτοῖς ἀποθανόντων αὐτῶν, ὅτι εὐχὴ θεοῦ αὐτοῦ ἐπ' αὐτῷ ἐπὶ κεφαλῆς αὐτοῦ·
לְאָבִ֣יו וּלְאִמּ֗וֹ לְאָחִיו֙ וּלְאַ֣חֹת֔וֹ לֹא־יִטַּמָּ֥א לָהֶ֖ם בְּמֹתָ֑ם כִּ֛י נֵ֥זֶר אֱלֹהָ֖יו עַל־רֹאשֽׁוֹ׃
Num 6:8
All the days of his separation he is holy to the  Lord.

πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς εὐχῆς αὐτοῦ ἅγιος ἔσται κυρίῳ.
כֹּ֖ל יְמֵ֣י נִזְר֑וֹ קָדֹ֥שׁ ה֖וּא לַֽיהוָֽה׃
Num 6:9
“And if any man dies very suddenly beside him and he defiles his consecrated head, then jhe shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shall shave it.
ἐὰν δέ τις ἀποθάνῃ ἐξάπινα ἐπ' αὐτῷ, παραχρῆμα μιανθήσεται κεφαλὴ εὐχῆς αὐτοῦ, καὶ ξυρήσεται τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ καθαρισθῇ· τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ ξυρηθήσεται.
וְכִֽי־יָמ֨וּת מֵ֤ת עָלָיו֙ בְּפֶ֣תַע פִּתְאֹ֔ם וְטִמֵּ֖א רֹ֣אשׁ נִזְר֑וֹ וְגִלַּ֤ח רֹאשׁוֹ֙ בְּי֣וֹם טָהֳרָת֔וֹ בַּיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י יְגַלְּחֶֽנּוּ׃
Num 6:10
kOn the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two pigeons to the priest to the entrance of the tent of meeting,
καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ὀγδόῃ οἴσει δύο τρυγόνας δύο νεοσσοὺς περιστερῶν πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα ἐπὶ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου,
וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִ֗י יָבִא֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֔ים א֥וֹ שְׁנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יוֹנָ֑ה אֶל־הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃
Num 6:11
and the priest shall offer one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, and make atonement for him, because he sinned by reason of the dead body. And he shall consecrate his head that same day
καὶ ποιήσει ἱερεὺς μίαν περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ μίαν εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα, καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ ἱερεὺς περὶ ὧν ἥμαρτεν περὶ τῆς ψυχῆς καὶ ἁγιάσει τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ,
וְעָשָׂ֣ה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן אֶחָ֤ד לְחַטָּאת֙ וְאֶחָ֣ד לְעֹלָ֔ה וְכִפֶּ֣ר עָלָ֔יו מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטָ֖א עַל־הַנָּ֑פֶשׁ וְקִדַּ֥שׁ אֶת־רֹאשׁ֖וֹ בַּיּ֥וֹם הַהֽוּא׃
Num 6:12
and separate himself to the  Lord for the days of his separation and bring a male lamb a year old lfor a guilt offering. But the previous period shall be void, because his separation was defiled.

ἡγιάσθη κυρίῳ τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς εὐχῆς, καὶ προσάξει ἀμνὸν ἐνιαύσιον εἰς πλημμέλειαν, καὶ αἱ ἡμέραι αἱ πρότεραι ἄλογοι ἔσονται, ὅτι ἐμιάνθη κεφαλὴ εὐχῆς αὐτοῦ.
וְהִזִּ֤יר לַֽיהוָה֙ אֶת־יְמֵ֣י נִזְר֔וֹ וְהֵבִ֛יא כֶּ֥בֶשׂ בֶּן־שְׁנָת֖וֹ לְאָשָׁ֑ם וְהַיָּמִ֤ים הָרִאשֹׁנִים֙ יִפְּל֔וּ כִּ֥י טָמֵ֖א נִזְרֽוֹ׃
Num 6:13
“And this is the law for the Nazirite mwhen the time of his separation has been completed: he shall be brought to the entrance of the tent of meeting,
Καὶ οὗτος νόμος τοῦ εὐξαμένου· ἂν ἡμέρᾳ πληρώσῃ ἡμέρας εὐχῆς αὐτοῦ, προσοίσει αὐτὸς παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου
וְזֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הַנָּזִ֑יר בְּי֗וֹם מְלֹאת֙ יְמֵ֣י נִזְר֔וֹ יָבִ֣יא אֹת֔וֹ אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃
Num 6:14
and he shall bring his gift to the  Lord, one male lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish nas a sin offering, and one ram without blemish oas a peace offering,
καὶ προσάξει τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ κυρίῳ ἀμνὸν ἐνιαύσιον ἄμωμον ἕνα εἰς ὁλοκαύτωσιν καὶ ἀμνάδα ἐνιαυσίαν ἄμωμον μίαν εἰς ἁμαρτίαν καὶ κριὸν ἕνα ἄμωμον εἰς σωτήριον
וְהִקְרִ֣יב אֶת־קָרְבָּנ֣וֹ לַיהוָ֡ה כֶּבֶשׂ֩ בֶּן־שְׁנָת֨וֹ תָמִ֤ים אֶחָד֙ לְעֹלָ֔ה וְכַבְשָׂ֨ה אַחַ֧ת בַּת־שְׁנָתָ֛הּ תְּמִימָ֖ה לְחַטָּ֑את וְאַֽיִל־אֶחָ֥ד תָּמִ֖ים לִשְׁלָמִֽים׃
Num 6:15
and a basket of unleavened bread, ploaves of fine flour mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers smeared with oil, and their qgrain offering and their rdrink offerings.
καὶ κανοῦν ἀζύμων σεμιδάλεως ἄρτους ἀναπεποιημένους ἐν ἐλαίῳ καὶ λάγανα ἄζυμα κεχρισμένα ἐν ἐλαίῳ καὶ θυσία αὐτῶν καὶ σπονδὴ αὐτῶν.
וְסַ֣ל מַצּ֗וֹת סֹ֤לֶת חַלֹּת֙ בְּלוּלֹ֣ת בַּשֶּׁ֔מֶן וּרְקִיקֵ֥י מַצּ֖וֹת מְשֻׁחִ֣ים בַּשָּׁ֑מֶן וּמִנְחָתָ֖ם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶֽם׃
Num 6:16
And the priest shall bring them before the  Lord and offer shis sin offering and his burnt offering,
καὶ προσοίσει ἱερεὺς ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ποιήσει τὸ περὶ ἁμαρτίας αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα αὐτοῦ
וְהִקְרִ֥יב הַכֹּהֵ֖ן לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְעָשָׂ֥ה אֶת־חַטָּאת֖וֹ וְאֶת־עֹלָתֽוֹ׃
Num 6:17
and he shall offer the ram as a sacrifice of peace offering to the  Lord, with the basket of unleavened bread. The priest shall offer also its grain offering and its drink offering.
καὶ τὸν κριὸν ποιήσει θυσίαν σωτηρίου κυρίῳ ἐπὶ τῷ κανῷ τῶν ἀζύμων, καὶ ποιήσει ἱερεὺς τὴν θυσίαν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν σπονδὴν αὐτοῦ.
וְאֶת־הָאַ֜יִל יַעֲשֶׂ֨ה זֶ֤בַח שְׁלָמִים֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה עַ֖ל סַ֣ל הַמַּצּ֑וֹת וְעָשָׂה֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֶת־מִנְחָת֖וֹ וְאֶת־נִסְכּֽוֹ׃
Num 6:18
And the Nazirite tshall shave his consecrated head at the entrance of the tent of meeting and shall take the hair from his consecrated head and put it on the fire that is under the sacrifice of the peace offering.
καὶ ξυρήσεται ηὐγμένος παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου τὴν κεφαλὴν τῆς εὐχῆς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπιθήσει τὰς τρίχας ἐπὶ τὸ πῦρ, ἐστιν ὑπὸ τὴν θυσίαν τοῦ σωτηρίου.
וְגִלַּ֣ח הַנָּזִ֗יר פֶּ֛תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד אֶת־רֹ֣אשׁ נִזְר֑וֹ וְלָקַ֗ח אֶת־שְׂעַר֙ רֹ֣אשׁ נִזְר֔וֹ וְנָתַן֙ עַל־הָאֵ֔שׁ אֲשֶׁר־תַּ֖חַת זֶ֥בַח הַשְּׁלָמִֽים׃
Num 6:19
And the priest shall take the ushoulder of the ram, when it is boiled, and one unleavened loaf out of the basket and one unleavened wafer, and vshall put them on the hands of the Nazirite, after he has shaved the hair of his consecration,
καὶ λήμψεται ἱερεὺς τὸν βραχίονα ἑφθὸν ἀπὸ τοῦ κριοῦ καὶ ἄρτον ἕνα ἄζυμον ἀπὸ τοῦ κανοῦ καὶ λάγανον ἄζυμον ἓν καὶ ἐπιθήσει ἐπὶ τὰς χεῖρας τοῦ ηὐγμένου μετὰ τὸ ξυρήσασθαι αὐτὸν τὴν εὐχὴν αὐτοῦ·
וְלָקַ֨ח הַכֹּהֵ֜ן אֶת־הַזְּרֹ֣עַ בְּשֵׁלָה֮ מִן־הָאַיִל֒ וְֽחַלַּ֨ת מַצָּ֤ה אַחַת֙ מִן־הַסַּ֔ל וּרְקִ֥יק מַצָּ֖ה אֶחָ֑ד וְנָתַן֙ עַל־כַּפֵּ֣י הַנָּזִ֔יר אַחַ֖ר הִֽתְגַּלְּח֥וֹ אֶת־נִזְרֽוֹ׃
Num 6:20
and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the  Lord. wThey are a holy portion for the priest, together with the breast that is waved and the thigh that is contributed. And after that the Nazirite may drink wine.

καὶ προσοίσει αὐτὰ ἱερεὺς ἐπίθεμα ἔναντι κυρίου, ἅγιον ἔσται τῷ ἱερεῖ ἐπὶ τοῦ στηθυνίου τοῦ ἐπιθέματος καὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ βραχίονος τοῦ ἀφαιρέματος· καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα πίεται ηὐγμένος οἶνον.
וְהֵנִיף֩ אוֹתָ֨ם הַכֹּהֵ֥ן ׀ תְּנוּפָה֮ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָה֒ קֹ֤דֶשׁ הוּא֙ לַכֹּהֵ֔ן עַ֚ל חֲזֵ֣ה הַתְּנוּפָ֔ה וְעַ֖ל שׁ֣וֹק הַתְּרוּמָ֑ה וְאַחַ֛ר יִשְׁתֶּ֥ה הַנָּזִ֖יר יָֽיִן׃
Num 6:21
This is the law of the Nazirite. But if he vows an offering to the  Lord above his Nazirite vow, as he can afford, in exact accordance with the vow that he takes, then he shall do in addition to the law of the Nazirite.”

οὗτος νόμος τοῦ εὐξαμένου, ὃς ἂν εὔξηται κυρίῳ δῶρον αὐτοῦ κυρίῳ περὶ τῆς εὐχῆς, χωρὶς ὧν ἂν εὕρῃ χεὶρ αὐτοῦ κατὰ δύναμιν τῆς εὐχῆς αὐτοῦ, ἣν ἂν εὔξηται κατὰ νόμον ἁγνείας.
זֹ֣את תּוֹרַ֣ת הַנָּזִיר֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִדֹּר֒ קָרְבָּנ֤וֹ לַֽיהוָה֙ עַל־נִזְר֔וֹ מִלְּבַ֖ד אֲשֶׁר־תַּשִּׂ֣יג יָד֑וֹ כְּפִ֤י נִדְרוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִדֹּ֔ר כֵּ֣ן יַעֲשֶׂ֔ה עַ֖ל תּוֹרַ֥ת נִזְרֽוֹ׃ פ
Num 6:22
The  Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃
Num 6:23
Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus xyou shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them,

Λάλησον Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ λέγων Οὕτως εὐλογήσετε τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ, λέγοντες αὐτοῖς [καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς ισραηλ καὶ ἐγὼ κύριος εὐλογήσω αὐτούς]
דַּבֵּ֤ר אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹן֙ וְאֶל־בָּנָ֣יו לֵאמֹ֔ר כֹּ֥ה תְבָרֲכ֖וּ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אָמ֖וֹר לָהֶֽם׃ ס
Num 6:24
The  Lord ybless you and zkeep you;
Εὐλογήσαι σε, κύριος καὶ φυλάξαι σε
יְבָרֶכְךָ֥ יְהוָ֖ה וְיִשְׁמְרֶֽךָ׃ ס
Num 6:25
the  Lord aamake his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
ἐπιφάναι κύριος τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ ἐλεήσαι σε,
יָאֵ֨ר יְהוָ֧ה ׀ פָּנָ֛יו אֵלֶ֖יךָ וִֽיחֻנֶּֽךָּ׃ ס
Num 6:26
the  Lord ablift up his countenance
Or face
upon you and give you peace.

ἐπάραι κύριος τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ δῴη σοι εἰρήνην.
יִשָּׂ֨א יְהוָ֤ה ׀ פָּנָיו֙ אֵלֶ֔יךָ וְיָשֵׂ֥ם לְךָ֖ שָׁלֽוֹם׃ ס
Num 6:27
ad“So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.”

וְשָׂמ֥וּ אֶת־שְׁמִ֖י עַל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַאֲנִ֖י אֲבָרֲכֵֽם׃ פ
