‏ Genesis 4:5-8

5but afor Cain and his offering He had no regard. So bCain became very angry and his face

was gloomy.
6Then the Lord said to Cain, “ dWhy are you angry? And why is your face
Lit fallen
gloomy?
7 fIf you do well,
Or you will certainly be accepted
will your face not be
Lit lifted up
cheerful? iAnd if you do not do well, sin is lurking at the door; and its desire is for you, jbut you must master it.”
8Cain
Lit said to
talked to his brother Abel; and it happened that when they were in the field Cain rose up against his brother Abel and lkilled him.
