Isa 6:10-12 | NASB2020 | STEP | “ Make the hearts of this people insensitive , Their ears dull , And their eyes blind , So that they will not see with their eyes , Hear with their ears , Understand with their hearts , And return and be healed .”

‏ Isaiah 6:10-12

10 “ ^aMake the hearts of this people ^{▼▼Lit fat} ^cinsensitive,
Their ears ^{▼▼Lit heavy}dull,
And their eyes ^{▼▼Lit sealed over}blind,
^fSo that they will not see with their eyes,
Hear with their ears,
Understand with their hearts,
And return and be healed.”

11 Then I said, “Lord, ^ghow long?” And He answered,
“Until ^hcities are devastated and without inhabitant,
Houses are without people
And the land is utterly desolate,
12 The Lord has ⁱcompletely removed people,
And there ^{▼▼Or forsakenness will be great}are many ^kforsaken places in the midst of the land.
