24 “Have you not observed what these people have asserted, saying, ‘The ^atwo families which the Lord chose, He has ^brejected them’? So they ^cdespise My people as no longer being a nation ^{▼▼Lit to their faces}in their sight. 25 This is what the Lord says: ‘If My ^ecovenant for day and night does not continue, and I have ^fnot established the ^{▼▼Lit statutes}fixed patterns of heaven and earth, 26 then I would ^hreject the ^{▼▼Lit seed}descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so as not to take from his ^{▼▼Lit seed}descendants ^krulers over the ^{▼▼Lit seed}descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But I will ^mrestore their fortunes and have ⁿmercy on them.’”
