Jer 43:10-13 | NASB2020 | STEP | and say to them, ‘ This is what the Lord of armies , the God of Israel says : “ Behold , I am going to send men and get My servant Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon , and I am going to set his throne over these stones that I have hidden ; and he will spread his canopy over them.

10 and say to them, ‘This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: “Behold, I am going to send men and get ^aMy servant ^bNebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and I am going to set his throne over these stones that I have hidden; and he will spread his ^{▼▼Or carpet} ^dcanopy over them. 11 He will also come and ^estrike the land of Egypt; those who are meant for death will be given over to death, and those for captivity to captivity, and ^fthose for the sword to the sword. 12 And ^{▼▼Some ancient versions He will set}I shall set fire to the temples of the ^hgods of Egypt, and he will burn them and take them captive. So he will ^{▼▼Or delouse the land} ^jwrap himself with the land of Egypt as a shepherd ^{▼▼Or delouses his garment}wraps himself with his garment, and he will depart from there safely. 13 He will also smash to pieces the ^{▼▼Or stone pillars}obelisks of ^{▼▼Heb Beth-shemesh; i.e., the house of the sun-god}Heliopolis, which is in the land of Egypt; and the temples of the gods of Egypt he will burn with fire.”’”
