Psalms 95

Praise to the Lord and Warning against Unbelief.

1 Come, let’s ^asing for joy to the Lord,
Let’s shout joyfully to ^bthe rock of our salvation.
2 Let’s ^ccome before His presence ^dwith a song of thanksgiving,
Let’s shout joyfully to Him ^ein songs with instruments.
3 For the Lord is a ^fgreat God
And a great King ^gabove all gods,
4 In whose hand are the ^hdepths of the earth,
The peaks of the mountains are also His.
5 ^{▼▼Lit Who has the sea}The sea is His, for it was He ^jwho made it,
And His hands formed the dry land.

6 Come, let’s ^kworship and bow down,
Let’s ^lkneel before the Lord our ^mMaker.
7 For He is our God,
And ⁿwe are the people of His ^{▼▼Lit pasturing
,} ^ppasture and the sheep of His hand.
^qToday, ^{▼▼Or O that you would obey}if you will hear His voice,
8 Do not harden your hearts as at ^{▼▼Or place of strife
,} ^tMeribah,
As on the day of ^{▼▼Or temptation
,} ^vMassah in the wilderness,
9 “When your fathers ^wput Me to the test,
They tested Me, though they had seen My work.
10 “For ^xforty years I was disgusted with that generation,
And said they are a people who err in their heart,
And they do not know My ways.
11 “Therefore I ^yswore in My anger,
They certainly shall not enter My ^zrest.”
