16 and said, “ ^aBy Myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son, 17 indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly ^bmultiply your ^{▼▼Or descendants}seed as the stars of the heavens and as ^dthe sand, which is on the seashore; and ^eyour ^{▼▼Or descendants}seed shall possess the gate of ^{▼▼Lit his}their enemies. 18 And ^hin your ^{▼▼Or descendants}seed all the nations of the earth shall ^{▼▼Or bless themselves}be blessed, because you have ^kobeyed My voice.”
