‏ Psalms 104

The Lord’s Care over All His Works.


1 aBless the Lord, my soul!
Lord my God, You are very great;
You are bclothed with splendor and majesty,

2 Covering Yourself with clight as with a cloak,
dStretching out heaven like a tent curtain.

He flays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters;
Lit The one who
He makes the hclouds His chariot;
Lit The one who
He walks on the jwings of the wind;

Lit Who
He makes
Or His angels, spirits
mthe winds His messengers,
Or His ministers flames of fire
Flaming ofire His ministers.


5 He pestablished the earth upon its foundations,
So that it will not
Or move out of place
totter forever and ever.

6 You rcovered it with the deep sea as with a garment;
The waters were standing above the mountains.

7 They fled from Your srebuke,
At the tsound of Your thunder they hurried away.

8 The mountains rose; the valleys sank down
To the uplace which You established for them.

9 You set a vboundary so that they will not pass over,
So that they will not return to cover the earth.

Lit The one who sends
He sends forth xsprings in the valleys;
They flow between the mountains;

11 They ygive drink to every animal of the field;
The zwild donkeys quench their thirst.

12 The birds of the sky aadwell
Or over; or above
beside them;
They
Lit give forth
lift up their voices from among the branches.

Lit Who
He aewaters the mountains from His upper chambers;
afThe earth is satisfied with the fruit of His works.

He causes the ahgrass to grow for the
Or animals
cattle,
And ajvegetation for the labor of mankind,
So that
Or He
they may produce
Lit bread
food amfrom the earth,

15 And anwine, which makes a human heart cheerful,
aoSo that he makes his face gleam with oil,
And
Lit bread
food, which aqsustains a human heart.

16 The trees of the Lord
Lit are satisfied
drink their fill,
The cedars of Lebanon which He planted,

17 Where the asbirds build their nests,
And the atstork, whose home is the juniper trees.


18 The high mountains are for the auwild goats;
The avcliffs are a refuge for the awrock hyrax.

19 He made the moon axfor the seasons;
The aysun knows the place of its setting.

20 You azappoint darkness and it becomes night,
In which all the baanimals of the forest
Lit crawl
prowl about.

21 The bcyoung lions roar for their prey
Lit And to seek
And beseek their food from God.

22 When the sun rises they withdraw,
And they lie down in their bfdens.

23 A person goes out to bghis work
And to his labor until evening.


24 Lord, how bhmany are Your works!
Or With
In bjwisdom You have made them all;
The bkearth is full of Your
Or creatures
possessions.

Or This
There is the bnsea, great and
Or broad of dimensions; lit hands
broad,
In which are swarms without number,
Animals both small and great.

26 The bpships move along there,
And
Or a sea monster
brLeviathan, which You have formed to have fun in it.


27 They all bswait for You
To btgive them their food in
Lit its appointed time
due season.

28 You give to them, they gather it up;
You bvopen Your hand, they are satisfied with good.

29 You bwhide Your face, they are terrified;
You bxtake away their breath, they perish
And byreturn to their dust.

30 You send forth Your
Or breath
caSpirit, they are created;
And You renew the face of the ground.


31 May the cbglory of the Lord endure forever;
May the Lord ccrejoice in His works;

Lit The one who
He celooks at the earth, and it cftrembles;
He cgtouches the mountains, and they smoke.

Or Let me sing
I will sing to the Lord
Lit in my lifetime
cjas long as I live;
Or Let me sing
I will clsing praise to my God
Lit while I still am
while I have my being.

34 May my cnpraise be pleasing to Him;
As for me, I shall corejoice in the Lord.

35 May sinners be cpremoved from the earth
And may the cqwicked be no more.
crBless the Lord, my soul.
