Psalms 110
The Lord Gives Dominion to the King.
A Psalm of David.
1 aThe Lord says to my Lord:
“ bSit at My right hand
Until I make cYour enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
2 The Lord will stretch out Your strong dscepter from Zion, saying,
“ eRule in the midst of Your enemies.”
3 Your fpeople ▼
▼Lit will be voluntary offerings
will volunteer freely on the day of Your ▼▼Or army
power; iIn ▼
▼Or the splendor of holiness
holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, ▼
▼Or The dew of Your youth is Yours
Your youth are to You as the ldew. 4 mThe Lord has sworn and will nnot ▼
▼Lit be sorry
change His mind, “You are a ppriest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”
5 The Lord is qat Your right hand;
He ▼
▼Or has shattered
will sshatter kings in the tday of His wrath. 6 He will ujudge among the nations,
He ▼
▼Or has filled
will fill them with wcorpses, He ▼
▼Or has shattered
will yshatter the ▼▼Lit head over
chief men over a broad country. 7 He will aadrink from the brook by the wayside;
Therefore He will ablift up His head.
