1 Be gracious to me, God, for a man has
Or snapped at
etrampled upon me;
Or A fighting man
Fighting all day long he goppresses me.

2 My enemies have htrampled upon me all day long,
For
Or many are fighting
they are many who jfight proudly against me.

3
Lit The day
When I am lafraid,
Or I am one who puts
I will nput my trust in You.

4 oIn God, whose word I praise,
In God I have put my trust;
I shall not be afraid.
pWhat can mere
Lit flesh
mortals do to me?

5 All day long they rdistort my words;
All their
Or purposes
tthoughts are against me for evil.

6 They
Or stir up strife
vattack, they lurk,
They wwatch my
Lit heels
steps,
As they have ywaited to take my
Lit soul
life.

7 Because of their wickedness, will there be an aaescape for them?
In anger abmake the peoples fall down, God!

8 You achave taken account of my
Or wanderings
miseries;
Put my aetears in Your bottle.
Are they not in afYour book?

9 Then my enemies will agturn back ahon the day when I call;
This I know,
Or because
that ajGod is for me.

10 In God, whose word I praise,
In the Lord, whose word I praise,

11 In God I have put my
Or trust without fear
trust, I shall not be afraid.
What can mankind do to me?

12 Your alvows are binding upon me, God;
I will render thanksgiving offerings to You.

13 For You have amsaved my soul from death,
Or Have You not delivered
Indeed aomy feet from stumbling,
So that I may apwalk before God
In the aqlight of the
Or life
living.
