▼ Another reading is my hearthis heart;
There is b no fear of God before his eyes.
▼ Or he flatters himselfit d flatters him in his own eyes
Concerning the discovery of his iniquity and the hatred of it.
3The e words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit;
He has f ceased to ▼
▼ Or understand to do goodbe wise and to do good.
4He h plans wickedness upon his bed;
He sets himself on a i path that is not good;
He j does not despise evil.
5Your k lovingkindness, O Lord ▼
▼ Lit is inextends to the heavens,
Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
6Your m righteousness is like the ▼
▼ Or mighty mountainsmountains of God;
Your o judgments are like a great deep.
O Lord, You p preserve man and beast.
7How q precious is Your lovingkindness, O God!
And the children of men r take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
8They s drink their fill of the ▼
▼ Lit fatnessabundance of Your house;
And You give them to drink of the u river of Your delights.
9For with You is the v fountain of life;
In Your light we see light.
10O continue Your lovingkindness to w those who know You,
And Your x righteousness to the upright in heart.
11Let not the foot of pride come upon me,
And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.
