Prayer for Rescue and Prosperity.
A Psalm of David.1 Blessed be the Lord, a my rock,
Who b trains my hands for war,
And my fingers for battle;
2My lovingkindness and c my fortress,
My d stronghold and my deliverer,
My e shield and He in whom I take refuge,
Who f subdues ▼
▼ Another reading is peoplesmy people under me.
3O Lord h what is man, that You take knowledge of him?
Or the son of man, that You think of him?
4 i Man is like a mere breath;
His j days are like a passing shadow.
5 k Bow Your heavens, O Lord, and l come down;
m Touch the mountains, that they may smoke.
6Flash forth n lightning and scatter them;
Send out Your o arrows and confuse them.
7Stretch forth Your hand p from on high;
Rescue me and q deliver me out of great waters,
Out of the hand of r aliens
8Whose mouths s speak deceit,
And whose t right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
9I will sing a u new song to You, O God;
Upon a v harp of ten strings I will sing praises to You,
10Who w gives salvation to kings,
Who x rescues David His servant from the evil sword.
11Rescue me and deliver me out of the hand of y aliens,
Whose mouth z speaks deceit
And whose aa right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
12Let our sons in their youth be as ab grown-up plants,
And our daughters as ac corner pillars ▼
▼ Lit cut after the pattern offashioned as for a palace;
13Let our ae garners be full, furnishing every kind of produce,
And our flocks bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our ▼
▼ Lit outsidefields;
14Let our ag cattle ▼
▼ Lit be ladenbear
▼ Lit bursting forth, aj mishap and without ▼
▼ Lit going out, al loss,
Let there be no am outcry in our streets!
15How blessed are the people who are so situated;
How an blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!
