Psalms 146

The  Lord an Abundant Helper.

1
Or Hallelujah!
Praise
Heb  Yah
the  Lord!
c  Praise the  Lord, O my soul!
2I will praise the  Lord d  while I live;
I will e  sing praises to my God while I have my being.
3 f  Do not trust in princes,
In
Lit a son of a man
mortal h  man, in whom there is i  no salvation.
4His j  spirit departs, he k  returns to
Lit his earth
the earth;
In that very day his m  thoughts perish.
5How n  blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
Whose o  hope is in the  Lord his God,
6Who p  made heaven and earth,
The q  sea and all that is in them;
Who r  keeps
Or truth
faith forever;
7Who t  executes justice for the oppressed;
Who u  gives food to the hungry.
The  Lord v  sets the prisoners free.

8The  Lord w  opens the eyes of the blind;
The  Lord x  raises up those who are bowed down;
The  Lord y  loves the righteous;
9The  Lord
Or keeps
,
aa  protects the
Or sojourners
strangers;
He
Or relieves
,
ad  supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He
Lit makes crooked
thwarts af  the way of the wicked.
10The  Lord will ag  reign forever,
Your God, O Zion, to all generations.
Or Hallelujah!
Praise
Heb  Yah
the  Lord!
