Praise for Jerusalem’s Restoration and Prosperity.

Or Hallelujah!
Heb  Yah
the  Lord!
For c  it is good to sing praises to our God;
Or He is gracious
it is pleasant and praise is e  becoming.
2The  Lord f  builds up Jerusalem;
He g  gathers the outcasts of Israel.
3He heals the h  brokenhearted
And i  binds up their
Lit sorrows
4He k  counts the number of the stars;
Or calls them all by their names
m  gives names to all of them.
5 n  Great is our Lord and abundant in strength;
His o  understanding is
Lit innumerable
6The  Lord
Or relieves
r  supports the afflicted;
He brings down the wicked to the ground.

7 s  Sing to the  Lord with thanksgiving;
Sing praises to our God on the lyre,
8Who t  covers the heavens with clouds,
Who u  provides rain for the earth,
Who v  makes grass to
Lit spring forth
grow on the mountains.
9He x  gives to the beast its food,
And to the y  young ravens which cry.
10He does not delight in the strength of the z  horse;
He aa  does not take pleasure in the legs of a man.
11The  Lord ab  favors those who fear Him,
ac  Those who wait for His lovingkindness.

12Praise the  Lord, O Jerusalem!
Praise your God, O Zion!
13For He has strengthened the ad  bars of your gates;
He has ae  blessed your sons within you.
14He af  makes
Lit your borders peace
peace in your borders;
He ah  satisfies you with ai  the
Lit fat
finest of the wheat.
15He sends forth His ak  command to the earth;
His al  word runs very swiftly.
16He gives am  snow like wool;
He scatters the an  frost like ashes.
17He casts forth His ao  ice as fragments;
Who can stand before His ap  cold?
18He aq  sends forth His word and melts them;
He ar  causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow.
19He as  declares His words to Jacob,
His at  statutes and His ordinances to Israel.
20He au  has not dealt thus with any nation;
And as for His ordinances, they have av  not known them.
