A Prayer of David.1 Hear a a just cause, O Lord, b give heed to my cry;
c Give ear to my prayer, which is not from d deceitful lips.

Let Your eyes look with g equity.
3 You have h tried my heart;
You have visited me by night;

▼ Or no evil device in me; My mouthnothing;
I have l purposed that my mouth will not transgress.
4 As for the deeds of men m by the word of Your lips
I have kept from the n paths of the violent.
5 My o steps have held fast to Your ▼

My q feet have not slipped.
6 I have r called upon You, for You will answer me, O God;
s Incline Your ear to me, hear my speech.
7 t Wondrously show Your lovingkindness,
O u Savior of those who take refuge ▼

From those who rise up against them.

Hide me y in the shadow of Your wings
