Psalms 24

The King of Glory Entering Zion.

A Psalm of David.

1 The a  earth is the  Lord’s, and
Lit its fullness
all it contains,
The c  world, and those who dwell in it.
2For He has d  founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the rivers.
3Who may e  ascend into the f  hill of the  Lord?
And who may stand in His holy g  place?
4He who has h  clean hands and a i  pure heart,
Who has not j  lifted up his soul
Or in vain
to falsehood
And has not l  sworn deceitfully.
5He shall receive a m  blessing from the  Lord
And
I.e. as vindicated
,
o  righteousness from the God of his salvation.

The  Lord v  strong and mighty,
The  Lord w  mighty in battle.
9Lift up your heads, O gates,
And lift them up, O
Lit everlasting
ancient doors,
That the King of y  glory may come in!
10Who is this King of glory?
The  Lord of z  hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah.
