1 b  Give ear to my words, O  Lord,
Consider my
Or meditation
,
d  groaning.
2Heed e  the sound of my cry for help f  my King and my God,
For to You I pray.
3In the morning, O  Lord
Or May You hear
You will hear my voice;
In the h  morning I will order my
Or sacrifice
prayer to You and eagerly j  watch.

4For You are not a God k  who takes pleasure in wickedness;
l  No evil
Lit sojourns
dwells with You.
5The n  boastful shall not o  stand before Your eyes;
You p  hate all who do iniquity.
6You q  destroy those who speak falsehood;
The  Lord abhors r  the man of bloodshed and deceit.
7But as for me, s  by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house,
Or Toward
At Your holy temple I will u  bow in v  reverence for You.

8O  Lord w  lead me x  in Your righteousness y  because of
Or those who lie in wait for me
my foes;
Make Your way
Or smooth
straight before me.
9There is ab  nothing
Or true
reliable in
Lit his mouth
what they say;
Their ae  inward part is destruction itself.
Their af  throat is an open grave;
They
Or make their tongue smooth
flatter with their tongue.
10Hold them guilty, O God;
ah  By their own devices let them fall!
In the multitude of their transgressions ai  thrust them out,
For they are aj  rebellious against You.

11But let all who ak  take refuge in You al  be glad,
Let them ever sing for joy;
And
Or You shelter
may You an  shelter them,
That those who ao  love Your name may exult in You.
12For it is You who ap  blesses the righteous man, O  Lord,
You aq  surround him with favor as with a shield.
