God Will Bless Judah and Ephraim

1Ask a  rain from the  Lord at the time of the spring rainThe  Lord who b  makes the

storm clouds;
And He will give them d  showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each man.
2For the e  teraphim speak

And the g  diviners see
Lit a lie
lying visions
And tell i  false dreams;
They comfort in vain.

3“My l  anger is kindled against the shepherds,
And I will punish the

And will make them like His majestic horse in battle.

5They will be as mighty men,

Because I have had ab  compassion on them;
And they will be as though I had ac  not rejected them,
For I am the  Lord their God and I will ad  answer them.
7Ephraim will be like a mighty man,
And their heart will be glad as if from wine;
Indeed, their ae  children will see it and be glad,
Or Let their heart rejoice
Their heart will rejoice in the  Lord.
8“I will ag  whistle for them to gather them together,
For I have redeemed them;
And they will be as ah  numerous as they

11And they will pass through the aq  sea of distress
And He will strike the waves in the sea,
So that all the depths of the ar  Nile will dry up;
And the pride of as  Assyria will be brought down
And the scepter of at  Egypt will depart.
12“And I will au  strengthen them in the  Lord,
And in His name av  they will walk,” declares the  Lord.
