The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, ‘Why is this happening to me?’ So she went to enquire of the

She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. ‘This is one of the Hebrew babies,’ she said.

opened it, she

behold, the
baby was

took pity on him and

you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.

People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them.
Now they were
bringing even infants to
him that he might
touch them.

disciples saw it, they
rebuked them.

He dealt treacherously with our people and oppressed our ancestors by forcing them to throw out their newborn babies so that they would die.
He dealt shrewdly with

forced our fathers to
expose their infants,

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,
