Rom 12: 9
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
aLet love be genuine. bAbhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.
ἀγάπη ἀνυπόκριτος. ἀποστυγοῦντες τὸ πονηρόν, κολλώμενοι τῷ ἀγαθῷ·
Rom 12: 10
Be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves.
cLove one another with brotherly affection. dOutdo one another in showing honor.
τῇ φιλαδελφίᾳ εἰς ἀλλήλους φιλόστοργοι, τῇ τιμῇ ἀλλήλους προηγούμενοι,
Rom 12: 11
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord.
Do not be slothful in zeal, ebe fervent in spirit,
Or  fervent in the Spirit
gserve the Lord.
τῇ σπουδῇ μὴ ὀκνηροί, τῷ πνεύματι ζέοντες, τῷ κυρίῳ δουλεύοντες,
Rom 12: 12
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

τῇ ἐλπίδι χαίροντες, τῇ θλίψει ὑπομένοντες, τῇ προσευχῇ προσκαρτεροῦντες,

Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practise hospitality.

kContribute to the needs of the saints and lseek to show hospitality.

ταῖς χρείαις τῶν ἁγίων κοινωνοῦντες, τὴν φιλοξενίαν διώκοντες.
Rom 12: 14
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

Rom 12: 16
Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.
Or willing to do menial work
Do not be conceited.

Or give yourselves to humble tasks
uNever be wise in your own sight.
τὸ αὐτὸ εἰς ἀλλήλους φρονοῦντες, μὴ τὰ ὑψηλὰ φρονοῦντες ἀλλὰ τοῖς ταπεινοῖς συναπαγόμενοι. μὴ γίνεσθε φρόνιμοι παρ᾽ ἑαυτοῖς.
Rom 12: 17
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
vRepay no one evil for evil, but wgive thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all.
μηδενὶ κακὸν ἀντὶ κακοῦ ἀποδιδόντες· προνοούμενοι καλὰ ἐνώπιον πάντων ἀνθρώπων·
Rom 12: 18
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
If possible, so far as it depends on you, xlive peaceably with all.
εἰ δυνατόν, τὸ ἐξ ὑμῶν μετὰ πάντων ἀνθρώπων εἰρηνεύοντες·
Rom 12: 19
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’
Deut. 32:35
says the Lord.
Beloved, znever avenge yourselves, but leave it

to the wrath of God, for it is written, abVengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
μὴ ἑαυτοὺς ἐκδικοῦντες, ἀγαπητοί, ἀλλὰ δότε τόπον τῇ ὀργῇ, γέγραπται γάρ· Ἐμοὶ ἐκδίκησις, ἐγὼ ἀνταποδώσω, λέγει κύριος.
Rom 12: 20
On the contrary:

‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.’
Prov. 25:21,22

To the contrary, adif your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.”

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

μὴ νικῶ ὑπὸ τοῦ κακοῦ, ἀλλὰ νίκα ἐν τῷ ἀγαθῷ τὸ κακόν.
