Revelation of John 12

And there appeared a great sign in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she was with child, and in the pains of birth cried out to be delivered. And there appeared another sign in heaven; behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a male child, who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up to God, and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she might be sustained for one thousand two hundred and sixty days. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, But were not strong enough; and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was cast down, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world: he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ have come: for the accuser of our brethren has been cast down, who accuses them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they did not love their lives to death. 12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you who live in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time. 13 And when the dragon saw that he had been cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who brought forth the male child. 14 And to the woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, to her place, where she would be sustained for a time, and times, and half a time, away from the face of the serpent. 15 And the serpent spewed out of his mouth water like a river after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the ground opened its mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was furious with the woman, and went to make war against the rest of her descendants, those who keep the commandments of God, and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
