The Ark Placed in a Tent

1And they brought in the ark of God and set it inside athe tent that David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God. 2And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord 3and distributed to all Israel, both men and women, to each a loaf of bread, a portion of meat,

1 Chronicles 29:21-23

21And they offered sacrifices to the Lord, and on the next day offered burnt offerings to the Lord, 1,000 bulls, 1,000 rams, and 1,000 lambs, with their cdrink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel. 22And they ate and drank before the Lord on that day with great gladness.

Solomon Anointed King

And they made Solomon the son of David king dthe second time, and they eanointed him as prince for the Lord, and fZadok as priest.

23 gThen Solomon sat on the hthrone of the Lord as king in place of David his father. And he prospered, and all Israel obeyed him.

2 Chronicles 30:23-27

23Then the whole assembly agreed together to keep the feast ifor another seven days. So they kept it for another seven days with gladness. 24For Hezekiah king of Judah jgave the assembly 1,000 bulls and 7,000 sheep for offerings, and the princes gave the assembly 1,000 bulls and 10,000 sheep. And the priests kconsecrated themselves in great numbers. 25The whole assembly of Judah, and the priests and the Levites, land the whole assembly that came out of Israel, and the sojourners who came out of the land of Israel, and the sojourners who lived in Judah, rejoiced. 26So there was great joy in Jerusalem, for msince the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem. 27Then nthe priests and the Levites arose and oblessed the people, and their voice was heard, and their prayer came to phis holy habitation in heaven.

Nehemiah 8:10-12

10Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and qsend portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” 11So the Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Be quiet, for this day is holy; do not be grieved.” 12And all the people went their way to eat and drink and to send portions and to make great rejoicing, because rthey had understood the words that were declared to them.
