1 Chronicles 21:15-16

15And God sent the angel to Jerusalem to destroy it, but as he was about to destroy it, the Lord saw, and he arelented from the calamity. And he said to the angel who was working destruction, “It is enough; now stay your hand.” And the angel of the Lord was standing by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. 16And David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven, and in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, bclothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.

Psalms 11:5-6

5The Lord ctests the righteous,
but dhis soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.
6Let him rain coals on the wicked;
efire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be fthe portion of their cup.

Isaiah 3:11

11 gWoe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him,
for what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him.

Isaiah 36:10

10Moreover, is it without the Lord that I have come up against this land to destroy it? hThe Lord said to me, "Go up against this land and destroy it."’”

Isaiah 37:36

36 iAnd the angel of the Lord went out and struck down 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians. And when people arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.

Ezekiel 9:5-6

5And to jthe others he said in my hearing, “Pass through the city after him, and strike. kYour eye shall not spare, and you shall show no pity. 6 lKill old men outright, young men and maidens, little children and women, but mtouch no one on whom is the mark. And nbegin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the house.
