1 Chronicles 21:15-16
15And God sent the angel to Jerusalem to destroy it, but as he was about to destroy it, the Lord saw, and he arelented from the calamity. And he said to the angel who was working destruction, “It is enough; now stay your hand.” And the angel of the Lord was standing by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. 16And David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven, and in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, bclothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.Psalms 95:3

He did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but pthought he was seeing a vision. 10When they had passed the first and the second guard, they came to the iron gate leading into the city. qIt opened for them of its own accord, and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel left him.Acts 12:23
23Immediately ran angel of the Lord struck him down, because she did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.
