1 Chronicles 21:16

16And David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven, and in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, aclothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.

Isaiah 5:25

25Therefore bthe anger of the Lord was kindled against his people,
and he stretched out his hand against them and struck them,
and cthe mountains quaked;
and their corpses were das refuse

xthe wall of the daughter of Zion;
yhe stretched out the measuring line;
he did not restrain his hand from destroying;
zhe caused rampart and wall to lament;
aathey languished together.

Lamentations 3:3

3surely against me he turns his hand
again and again the whole day long.
