(In the fortieth year of David’s reign search was made and men of great ability among them were found at hJazer in Gilead.) 32King David appointed him and his brothers, 2,700 men of ability, heads of fathers’ houses, to have the oversight of the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of the Manassites for everything pertaining to God and for ithe affairs of the king.

2 Chronicles 17:8-9

8 jand with them the Levites, Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah, and Tobadonijah; and with these Levites, the priests Elishama and Jehoram. 9And kthey taught in Judah, having the Book of the Law of the Lord with them. 2 Chronicles 19:11
