2 ^aJashobeam the son of Zabdiel was in charge of the first division in the first month; in his division were 24,000. 3 He was a ^bdescendant of Perez and was chief of all the commanders. He served for the first month. 4 ^cDodai the Ahohite ^{▼▼Septuagint; Hebrew Ahohite and his division and Mikloth the chief officer} was in charge of the division of the second month; in his division were 24,000. 5 The third commander, for the third month, was ^eBenaiah, the son of Jehoiada the chief priest; in his division were 24,000. 6 This is the Benaiah ^fwho was a mighty man of the thirty and in command of the thirty; Ammizabad his son was in charge of his division. ^{▼▼Septuagint, Vulgate; Hebrew was his division} 7 ^hAsahel the brother of Joab was fourth, for the fourth month, and his son Zebadiah after him; in his division were 24,000. 8 The fifth commander, for the fifth month, was ⁱShamhuth the Izrahite; in his division were 24,000. 9 Sixth, for the sixth month, was ^jIra, the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite; in his division were 24,000. 10 Seventh, for the seventh month, was ^kHelez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim; in his division were 24,000. 11 Eighth, for the eighth month, was ^lSibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites; in his division were 24,000. 12 Ninth, for the ninth month, was ^mAbiezer of Anathoth, a Benjaminite; in his division were 24,000. 13 Tenth, for the tenth month, was ⁿMaharai of Netophah, of the Zerahites; in his division were 24,000. 14 Eleventh, for the eleventh month, was ^oBenaiah of Pirathon, of the sons of Ephraim; in his division were 24,000. 15 Twelfth, for the twelfth month, was ^pHeldai the Netophathite, of ^qOthniel; in his division were 24,000.

Isaiah 60:3-10

3 ^rAnd nations shall come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your rising.
4 ^sLift up your eyes all around, and see;
they all gather together, they come to you;
^tyour sons shall come from afar,
and your daughters shall be carried on the hip.
5 Then you shall see and ^ube radiant;
your heart shall thrill and exult, ^{▼▼Hebrew your heart shall tremble and grow wide}
because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
^wthe wealth of the nations shall come to you.
6 A multitude of camels shall cover you,
the young camels of ^xMidian and ^yEphah;
all those from ^zSheba shall come.
^aaThey shall bring gold and frankincense,
and shall bring good news, the praises of the Lord.
7 All the flocks of ^abKedar shall be gathered to you;
the rams of ^acNebaioth shall minister to you;
^adthey shall come up with acceptance on my altar,
^aeand I will beautify my beautiful house.
8 Who are these that fly like a cloud,
and ^aflike doves to their windows?
9 For ^agthe coastlands shall hope for me,
^ahthe ships of Tarshish first,
^aito bring your children from afar,
their silver and gold with them,
for the name of the Lord your God,
and for the Holy One of Israel,
because ^ajhe has made you beautiful.
10 ^akForeigners shall build up your walls,
and ^altheir kings shall minister to you;
for in my wrath I struck you,
but in my favor I have had mercy on you.
