David’s Charge to Solomon

9“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a awhole heart and with a willing mind, bfor the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. cIf you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

1 Chronicles 29:5

5and for all the work to be done by craftsmen, gold for the things of gold and silver for the things of silver. Who then will offer willingly, consecrating himself
Or ordaining himself; Hebrew filling his hand
today to the Lord?”

1 Chronicles 29:9

9Then the people rejoiced because they had given willingly, for with a ewhole heart they had offered freely to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.
